Leslie Roberts is a licensed clinical psychologist and collaborative divorce coach with more than two decades of experience helping individuals and families navigate complex emotional transitions. Drawing on her background in clinical and forensic psychology, Leslie brings a balanced, compassionate, and solutions-focused approach to the collaborative divorce process.
As a collaborative divorce coach, Leslie helps clients manage the emotional challenges of separation while keeping the focus on effective communication, problem-solving, and the well-being of the entire family system. She works closely with attorneys, financial professionals, and child specialists to ensure that each client’s voice is heard and that the process remains constructive and forward focused. Her goal is to reduce conflict, preserve dignity, and support families in creating healthier post-divorce relationships.
Leslie’s understanding of family dynamics and trauma-informed practice allows her to guide parents in developing co-parenting strategies that prioritize their children’s needs. She is particularly skilled at assisting high-conflict families and individuals experiencing significant distress during the divorce process, helping them build resilience and emotional regulation.
A lifelong resident of West Michigan, Leslie earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Aquinas College and her Master’s in Counseling Education and Counseling Psychology degree from Western Michigan University. She completed her PhD in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Forensic Psychology at Fielding Graduate University and a pre-doctoral internship at the University of Michigan.
