Elena is a graduate of Miami University of Ohio and The University of Toledo Law School, and has been a practicing attorney in West Michigan for over thirty years with a concentration on family law.

After litigating family law cases and seeing the undue stress and expense on her clients, Elena decided to focus on the Collaborative Divorce Process and became certified in 2015, handling numerous cases since then. Elena has been a part of the Collaborative Divorce Professionals of West Michigan for over ten years and has served as Secretary, Vice Chair, and Chair.

Elena is resolution oriented while advocating for her clients’ best interests, and presents solutions that are individually crafted for each case. When not practicing law, Elena likes to cook, play tennis, watch football, and spend time with her husband, son, and three stepchildren.
