Amy Rademaker
I am a West Michigan native and graduate of Michigan State University and Thomas M. Cooley Law School. For the past 33 years, I have dedicated my career to practicing Family Law and Criminal Law. Beyond my legal work, I actively volunteer through my church and a nonprofit organization that provides safe, stable housing for individuals in substance recovery—many of whom are recently released from jail or prison and lack access to a clean, supportive living environment.
My interest in collaborative law grew out of seeing firsthand the strain on our court system—overwhelming caseloads, long delays, limited remedies for families, and the significant financial burden of traditional litigation. Through the collaborative process, I’ve discovered that nearly every situation can be resolved professionally, respectfully, and efficiently. It is a far more constructive path forward for families; each person is heard. By exploring and considering the collaborative approach, you are taking an important step toward a more positive resolution for yourself and your loved ones.
